Late Clinton Trainer, Karl MacNaughton to be honored during Hospice Fundraiser this Sunday

Long time Clinton owner/trainer Karl MacNaughton was a constant figure around the iconic red barn and paddock at the rural Ontario racetrack. His career in harness racing spanned an impressive 40 years and included many winners at Clinton Raceway. After a brief but courageous battle with Cancer, Karl passed away peacefully at the Huron Residential Hospice just West of Clinton, in March of 2019.

Clinton Raceway will honor MacNaughton's memory with a memorial race during the 10 race card this Sunday, June 16, 2019. The Huron Residential Hospice will also be hosting a trackside fundraiser during the afternoon romp. Funds will be raised in support of the newly opened Residential Hospice (May 2018) in providing quality hospice palliative care while supporting individuals and families through their journey of loss.
