Marketing, Promotions & Race Day Student

Clinton Raceway – Clinton, Ontario
Seasonal | April–September | Approx 35hrs/week | Including Sundays

Clinton Raceway is looking for an energetic, creative, and people-loving student to join our team for the live harness racing season! This is a hands-on role perfect for a student interested in marketing, promotions, events, sports, or community engagement. The ideal candidate will be returning to post secondary education in the fall of 2026. Must have valid drivers license and access to a reliable vehicle as some driving will be required.

What You’ll Do

  • Assist with race day promotions and fan engagement

  • Help execute on-site events, themed race days, and community fundraisers

  • Capture photos and short videos for social media and marketing use

  • Support social media posting before, during, and after race days

  • Assist with signage, set-up, tear-down, and promotional displays

  • Interact with guests to create a welcoming, fun, and memorable experience

  • Support marketing initiatives including contests, giveaways, and sponsor activations

What We’re Looking For

  • Currently enrolled in Marketing, Communications, Media, Sports Management, or a related program (or equivalent interest/experience)

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Comfortable speaking with the public and working in a lively outdoor environment

  • Organized, reliable, and able to multitask

  • Creative eye for content (Canva, Instagram, TikTok experience is an asset)

  • Available Sundays during the live harness racing season (Labour Day - Victoria Day)
